Wierd. I'm wondering if the tests to compare projections are a bit off.
I'll forward this to
the developers list to see if it rings true with anyone. Glad you found
a workaround.

I resolved a big problem (for us). If you dont know the resolution,

is a smell help for a quicker debugging.
We are using the UMN mapserver since 2 years on several servers in our
intranet.
Since a few month we had a big problem. The mapserver wont display
ploygons
completely.
Some one would be shown, some one not.
Today I found the resolution:
If you use the tag SRS in the GetMap request (e.g. EPSG:25833) and
your
basic SRS in the shape file is 25833 too,
you had the problem. If you delete the SRS tag from the request all
polygons
will be displayed completely.
Now the cascading service works perfect with a low of UMN mapservers.
