[Mapserver-dev] 4.4.0-beta1 tonight?

Hi,

We had a quick chat about the first 4.4.0 beta on IRC and would like to 
cut 4.4.0-beta1 tonight. We know there are still several open bugs and 
we're still working on them, but the current version seems in good shape 
and we would like to start receiving some feedback from the power users.

If any developer is aware of a critical issue in the current CVS version 
that would justify delaying beta1 then please let us know ASAP, or even 
better: please join us on the IRC channel to let us know.
