CVS segfault (polygon annotation layer)

Hi guys: I know there's a good bit of work going on at the moment. Here's an error I'm encountering. It's a seg fault/bus error on mac os (gdb says msDrawShape) with polygon annotation layers. I'm sure it's broader than that though. I'm using the itasca demo with this new layer:

Works ok under 4.10. Let me know if I can help narrow things down further...
