saved_extent parameter in the map

Hi There,

  The saved_extent parameter in the map object seem to be used for 
internal calculation. I have seen it recently used with Mapscript swig 
generated bindings (It is not exposed in php mapscript). Should it be 
removed from the swig mapscript?
  Note that in the case I have seen, the saved_extent was used in 
scripts as a mechanism to extract the original map extent set in the map 
file, which I think is not the intended behavior. I think this could be 
accomplish either at the application level or even using the web->extent 
parameter.
