[mapserver-dev] MySQL or still PostgreSQL/PostGIS for MapServer?

PostgreSQL with PostGIS is several generations old with solid analytical support based on JTS/Geos. Plus
there are far more client options for the GIS support. The MySQL GIS 5.1 looks to be first generation
with support from one individual. I'd favor "tried and true" in a production environment. That's said I've
not putzed with MySQL GIS 5.1 so I really don't know how it performs...
