[mapserver-dev] Advanced Selection Management API

Might look at RFC 22, I thought there were some ideas there that might apply here...

Thanks Pavel, I have several ideas of how to build one-off solutions in fact but in I am trying to find a more generic solution that will also benefit other mapserver users (and hopefully engage them in the process :))
