All,
Interesting idea. It would be a method for collecting resources from
multiple domains too. I assume the GET part of the operation would be
from the MapServer side?
To push this idea somewhat . . . :c) Any need by anyone to have the
MapServer output head out to a new service?, not really an include
per-se, but more of a pipelining thing. My need here would be for
syncing a remote instance of mapserver with a master version somewhere
on the internet.

Hi all: Was chatting with Brent F. a bit about dynamic mapfile content.
One idea that surfaced was URL-based includes, e.g.:
INCLUDE “http://.../some file or CGI script (
http://.../some%20file%20or%20CGI%20script )”
Any thoughts on the utility of such a function? Code would have to be
added into the lexer section that handles includes. Could just write
whatever is retrieved in a temp directory and then open as normal.
