Hi again,

Following up on my previous email, I want to inform you that the 6.0.0
source package is available for testing at

   http://download.osgeo.org/mapserver/mapserver-6.0.0-rc3.tar.gz

I'd invite the binary package maintainers (and other interested parties)
to test it in preparation for tomorrow's official release, and to report
blocker issues ASAP.

The file is named with a "rc3" suffix, but internally it is really
tagged as the 6.0.0 release. (I used the rc3 suffix to produce a unique
filename just in case a blocker problem would be reported in the next 24
hrs forcing us to withdraw the file and regenerate it).

If no blocker is reported then this source package will be renamed
mapserver-6.0.0.tar.gz tomorrow and that will become the official release.
