[mapserver-dev] Layer status

Dear All,
            I am upgrading my mapserver from lower version to 7.0.

I am facing a problem in detecting whether a layer is currently opened or
not.

I actually want to know "How to check whether a layer is currently opened
or not."

Any help in this direction will be appreciated.
