We’ve tried to definitely include examples with MapScript over the years. Depends what you mean by tests. Seems like all the regression tests should be in msautotest or are you thinking something different?

Hi Steve / list,
A more frequent release cycle (at least for patch releases) sounds good to me.
I'll aim to release a new Python MapScript wheel on PyPI (for Windows) on each new release which will allow incremental improvements (flake8 has just been added and the test suite updated to have a consistent code standard - https://github.com/mapserver/mapserver/pull/5670).
There are some useful notes on Python MapScript and Ubuntu builds (from Sebastiaan Couwenberg) are in this thread - https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/ubuntu/2018-September/thread.html#1752
Does anyone have any opinions on whether MapScript should be deployed with tests and examples?
I'm currently updating both and will be trying to get these added to patch releases.
Regards,
Seth
