[mapserver-dev] Adding an events page?

The events at OSGeo are managed in Wordpress. I've no idea what sort of opportunity for use (and reuse) is available. RSS would almost certainly be one option. IMHO it seems positioned for big events and not some of the rinky-dink, project specific stuff I was thinking about - at least those tags don't exist in the exist setup. Worth inquiring about though.

It would be good if it was handled centrally by OSGeo and linked in to https://www.osgeo.org/events/. Then it could be filterered by project e.g. "MapServer", and type e.g. "Releases", "PSC Meetings" etc.
Manually editing an RST file might be more likely though.
