[mapserver-dev] Is layer type TILEINDEX supported or not?

Hi,

See https://github.com/MapServer/MapServer/issues/6404 and https://www.mapserver.org/ogc/wcs_format.html. The latter has an example about a layer using TYPE TILEINDEX. This type is not documented in https://mapserver.org/mapfile/layer.html. Does TYPE TILEINDEX exist and if it does, in which way it is different from TYPE POLYGON?
