Hi Lyndon,

This should work fine.  Give them Apache, and run it as a localhost. 
We've done this for both Windows and *nix platforms with great success. 
We work specifically with Apache because it is simple to set up for
these situations and demands a minimum of resources.  We even had one
box running it with 16 MB of RAM (text only, but it ran great!).
