Hello,
I am newbie to GIS & Mapserver, I am trying to setup a location based
service application using the ericsson visual net emulator. I have set this
portion up no problem, I can query the emulator and get back an XML message
with lat/long positioning coordinates.
I have setup the mapserver on a winNT box, and have successfully completed
the demo and can query the mapserver via cgi. When I add my map (.gif) that
I used above for the LBS, it does not appear. I get a red block instead,
which could be the default background color. In my temp directory, I can see
each map is being generated, when I display a temp map, there is no picture.
I have tried substituting my .gif in the demo, and replacing the extent with
the .gif extent.
I have tried just to bring up the map using the cgi variable mode=reference,
and also using mode=browse. When I use the mode= reference, I get a red
square, when I use the mode=browse I get the alternate text from the <img
.... > tag.
Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?
Here is a copy of my map file
