php link

Hi list,

I'm trying to install mapscript/php on our ISP's machine.
When php_mapscript.so is loaded, I get this message:
Unable to load dynamic library '/path/to/extension/php_mapscript.so' -
/path/to/extension/php_mapscript.so: symbol calloc, version GLIBC_2.0
not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference (no version
symbols)

Does this seem familiar to anyone?
