[mapserver-users] mapserver problem (fwd)

Venkat,
I suggest that you download Shapelib
at http://gdal.velocet.ca/projects/shapelib/index.html
and use 'shpdump <shpfile> |more '. The first thing it spits
out is the extent of the shapefile. Over the years I
have found the tool to be invaluable and I use it all the
time (thanks Frank).
