Chip,

There was a problem with the way PHP objects were handled internally
with PHP 4.0.x.  A fix for this was committed to CVS on Sept. 13, so
you'll have to get a new DLL that was built after that date.

We don't have one on our site at the moment, but we should have one
soon.
