[mapserver-users] Multipoint Objects

Hello Everyone,
   I'm still trying to create a point shapefile that works both in ArcView 3.2 an d 8.1   Also, I am NOT using PHP; just plain mapscript and Perl. There's one thing I don't get in the documentation for mapscript The definition for a shapeObj says that a shapeObj is made up of lineObjs. So with this definition, how do I store a multipoint object in a shapeObject? Do I store it as a line object?
