[mapserver-users] Creating a tile set from a single image

Listers,

Is there a utility that I might use to easily slice a single large image
into a mosaic (possibly even building a tileindex) to be used as a
raster tile set with Mapserver?

I have two large TIFF images (approximately 450MB each) which I would
like to tile.
