[mapserver-users] Spacial Extent

The EXTENT in the map object is the extent for the map to be created.
Most of the time it is always changing depending on what a user wants.
The value set in the map file in effect sets a default extent.

The EXTENT in the reference object defines the area shown in the
reference map and is a fixed value.
