[mapserver-users] abutters lists

We have not gotten that far yet here, however we did look at it and we did not find a better solution than a tolerance because the relationship between polygon<->arc we used on coverages does not hold true in shapefiles. It's just a guess but I think this is what makes (last time I checked) an sde checkout lock the least-bounding-rectangle as opposed to an arcstorm checkout that locks features only. If you have other ideas we would definitely like to hear what you find.
