[mapserver-users] gdaltindex command..

I am trying to create a tile index using gdaltindex command.  I am not
having any luck.  It bombs out with an error of -- Bad value for
"SamplesPerPixel", so I tried it with a different batch of images and I
get a different error for them.  Has anyone successfully used this
command for Digital Raster Graphics images? If so, can you help me?  If
not, is there another way to create a tile index for mapserver?
