Hi,

I would like to warn those who work with MapServer from CVS that the
current CVS source is likely to have some problems, so you should avoid
using the CVS source for the next few weeks, or should use it with care
if you do.

The reason is that MapServer is currently undergoing some major changes
in order to support vector output (SWF, GML, PDF) and a first round of
changes have been committed to CVS on May 2nd. So any nightly build
after May 2nd is likely to have some problems until this work is
completed.

We have prepared a snapshot of the source as of April 30 which is known
to work well, so I recommend that those who like to have the latest
stuff stick to that version:

For the source:
http://www2.dmsolutions.ca/mapserver/dl/mapserver-src-20020430.tar.gz

And for Win32 binaries:
http://www2.dmsolutions.ca/mapserver/dl/php4.1.2_php_mapscript_36-dev_cvs20020430.zip

I'll send an update as soon as the CVS source is back in stable state.

Don't put for tomorrow what you can do today, because if
you enjoy it today you can do it again tomorrow.
