[mapserver-users] PythonMapscript Installation

Norman,

I changed the mapscript.i file as suggested in the WIKI and the setup.py too.
But I always get a swig error and syntax errors (../mapscript.i:68. Syntax
error in input.
../mapscript.i:74. Syntax error in input.).



When I used the original mapscript.i file of the mapserver-3.6.1 source,
I could compile the pythonMapscript. But I got the following error:

error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1


Any ideas to solve these problem. Thanks in advance.....
