[Mapserver-users] Loading data from another server

I think part of the problem is that, if MapServer allowed you to specify
a generic URL as a data path how would it know what kind of data it is.
If it then went further and allowed you to specify the type of incoming
data it would be duplicating what WMS & WFS are intended to solve.
