[Mapserver-users] more mapplet questions

Thanks for all the help so far.  I am sorry for continuing posting these
trivial questions.. hopefully once I get a base for how this is exactly
working, they will lessen...

I have finally gotten mapplet to run.  However, I am running into the
issue of the "gray box".  Being that all images are png, is this the
problem?  I have read that the mapplet does not work with png's, but
also remember reading that newer versions of java are able to display
png's... is this correct?  I am using java2 platform, version 1.4.1 on a
WIN XP to view the page, but everything is being scripted on a RedHat
7.2 server... the error is giving me:
document.mapserv.imgbox is null or not an object.
