MessageThe only portable gis that i know off, that sort of support =
OpenGis standards is on Grass. At least 5.1 can store the data on =
postgresql/postgis. It does not support simple feature specification, =

Excellent idea! All you have to do is persuade ESRI to support WMS =
servers in their ArcGIS clients (or any other clients, for that matter =
