[Mapserver-users] Creating a TTF font?

Well, Macromedia Fontographer is an outstanding application - it will run on Windows or Mac (OS 9 or Classic under X) but it's certainly not free!

Does anybody have recommendations for software to create a TTF font? I have 
about 200 small XPM images that I want to make into a TTF font so I can use 
the nifty label features in Mapserver.
