Phil,

Nope, there is no such beast officially.

When people refer to 3.7, they mean the CVS version, or the nightly build.

As for the documentation, it also undergoes paralel devoplment to the vesion
of mapserver, but not necessarily synchronized. So if you read the docs for
3.7, right now you are reading the development docs, and they may or may not
properly reflect the settings/configuration/capabilities of the CVS version.

I have seen that in some of the documentation that there is reference to the
installation of Mapserver-3.7.tar.gz.  Am I to assume that this would be the
equivalent to a nightly build or is there actually such an animal tucked
away in the far corners of the world wide web.
