[Mapserver-users] Compile issues, no PNG's

Colin and Marc,
	With the new version of MapServ, you are correct that it no longer
supports GIF formats.  However, the demo can still run with little
manipulation.  I am not sure what OS's you are running... in Linux,
there is the convert command, which will allow you to convert from gif
to png.  In windows, I am guessing and image editor will allow one to do
this.
	As for getting the demo to work, when you have converted the images to
png's, simply go into your .map file, and change all [image].gif to
[image].png, and this should work for you...
