[Mapserver-users] Log user actions

You could use MapScript of course. There is also a LOGFILE option (for
the WEB object I believe) that tells the MapServer CGI to create a log
for you. It gives you the information you'd want.

Hi,

I need to log some information (date, IP address etc..)in to the data
base, 
when ever an user performs a query. I tried using server side include 
(.shml) a servlet that performs this function, but I think the
mapserver is 
not supporting the .shtml.

Is there a way to log information? I am using Mapserver 3.6.3 on
windows 
2000 server
