[Mapserver-users] display a translucently layer on top of others

Hello,
I'm new with MapServer. I would like to display a layer (of polygon =
type) translucently on top of other layers. One way I can do it is set =
its symbol to a "crosshash" style:

SYMBOL
  NAME 'crosshatch'
  TYPE VECTOR
  POINTS
    0 0
    2 2
  END
END

I know this is not the right way, you can "see thru" this layer, but not =
truely "translucent".
Is there other way of doing this (also, if we can set the transparency =
level)? Thanks.
