Hello,
I have a simple question about shp files. I am newbei about mapserver so =
sorry if my question sound stupid:)
I have map data, shp, shx and dbf files. I could not get mapserver to =
read these files and produce a map. I posted a question earlier, a few =
nice people answered. Later I browsed these shp files with ArchExplorer =
and found out that these files contain Turkish characters as query =
material. I believe char set for Turkish is UTF-9. Does mapserver =
support Turkish or UTF-9? May this be the reason that I never have been =
able to get the mapserver to read these files. (redhat 9.0, mapserver =
3.6.0 are what I am running)

Thanks
Have a nice day..

Murat Isik
