[Mapserver-users] Mapping Symbols and MapServer

If you are referring to lines with outlines of various colors and sizes, this can be accomplished using overlay symbols.  

e.g.

CLASS	  #Trunk Highway
  EXPRESSION "2"
  SYMBOL 'circle'
  SIZE 5
  COLOR 204 153 0
  OVERLAYSYMBOL 'circle'
  OVERLAYSIZE 3
  OVERLAYCOLOR 204 153 51
END
