ArcInfo Grid Header Conversion Utility

Sorry, this is a bit off topic but, I am trying to index about 3000 DOQ
TIF files and render them in MapServer (not all at once) but, I do not
have world files for the TIFFs. Does anyone know of an ArcInfo Grid
header conversion utility that would convert to a world file. I sure our
friend awk and grep could to justice to this task but, I was hoping that
someone made that wheel already?
