php5 with Php_mapscript_44.dll

Hi list members,

According to the information on the website, mapserver 4.4.0 should be
compatible with PHP5.

But when I want to include the extension php_mapscript_44.dll in php.ini, I
get an error when starting apache (2.0.52):

" PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic
library 'c:/web/php/ext\php_mapscript_44.dll' "

Notice the backslash in the error message.

I'm thankful for any suggestions.
