Supporting packages

Hello all

The download page http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/dload.html mentions
supporting packages. In order to use features from mapserver like truetype
symbols, do I have to download the packages and install them? My mapserver
configuration mentions "support=freetype", so I'm a little confused wether I
have to install freetype or not.

MapServer version 4.4.0 OUTPUT=GIF OUTPUT=PNG OUTPUT=JPEG OUTPUT=WBMP
OUTPUT=PDF OUTPUT=SWF SUPPORTS=PROJ SUPPORTS=FREETYPE SUPPORTS=WMS_SERVER
SUPPORTS=WMS_CLIENT SUPPORTS=WFS_SERVER SUPPORTS=WFS_CLIENT
SUPPORTS=WCS_SERVER INPUT=POSTGIS INPUT=OGR INPUT=GDAL INPUT=SHAPEFILE

I'm using the ms4w package http://www.maptools.org/ms4w/index.phtml from
maptools.org with windows xp.
