[Mapserver-users] XML -> OGR Virtual Datasource -> Dynamic Point Layer

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had thought of this... or done this?  

It would be useful to be able to link to a remote XML document (such as USGS
Earthquake Epicenters :) that is updated daily) and generate a dynamic point
layer.  Would be easier than harvesting and connecting through existing
mechanisms.  Food for thought.
