Sorry, my stupidity. I found the solution when I searched the archives. Just had to add that directory to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig. Everything worked from there.

Subject: another error

I configure my mapserver --with-proj=/usr/local and it compiled just fine. When I copied the file over to my cgi-bin and run it, I get an error.

[root at mayhem cgi-bin]# ./mapserv -v
./mapserv: error while loading shared libraries: libproj.so.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
[root at mayhem cgi-bin]#

What am I missing? Do I need to add something to my LD_LIBRARY_PATH? I am running RH 9.

Thanks
Zamil
