reference map coordinates

hello

As I am dealing with reference map, I need to use javascript to get
image coordinates of reference map.
But I get different values from 0 as minimum x and y. How can I
transfer  minimum image coordinates to
zero. Subtraction by hand gives wrong results in different browser.
Is there any javascript command to do this ?
