Help with EXTENT

How could I find EXTENT coordinates?

I have an example which have next EXTENT:

EXTENT 201621.496941 -294488.285333 1425518.020722 498254.511514

I use shpinfo.exe to try to obtain the same result with the same .shp
file, but it returns:

  Xmin:       -97.238976
  Ymin:       41.619778
  Xmax:       -82.122902
  Ymax:       49.385620

I try it with may .map file and they don't run when with first coordinates
did.

How could I find the right coordinates?
