mapserver 4.4.1 binary for debian?

I installed the mapserver/php4-mapscript 4.4.1 debian packages and everything seems to be in place, except the package didn't seem to include the actual mapscript binary.   legend, scalebar, shp2img, etc are all there installed in /usr/bin but there is no mapserver or mapserver40 binary.  Any chance somebody out there has one or knows the location of a package that didn't leave this out?
