.tab and .map

So the only thing that you done is to add the
projection definition below in the .map file, and
thanks to that you can view the tiff file? Is that
correct?
By the way, what is tmerc mean?

All I want to do is to view the tiff file in a web
page and then situate some points in it (UTM
coordinates).
If you can guide me more in the way of doing it I will
be very greatfull.

I use Mapserver 4.4.0 and java (servlets)
