labeling of OGR mapinfo table

Hi, 

trying to label a mapinfo table using the mapfile, but nothing seams to work.

followed the OGR instructions about using TEXT which overrides CLASSITEM, tried the recommended truetype Arial font and bitmap type.  Any sample code out there.
