Labels using shape index

If you draw the shape using an annotation layer then MapServer will compute the
label point for you.

Sorry, yes the result ID is what I am interested in.

So is there an easy way to get the label point of a shape?  I think I have
the other pieces of the puzzle from some other posts, but I'm not sure the
best method to create my annotation point based off of the shape results
label point.
