Hello Bino,

Well, I'm sure you know the main mapfile doc 
(http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/doc44/mapfile-reference.html)
I do not know if a better mapfile document exists.
I learned mapserver mainly by looking at the tutorials.
By the way this summer some books regarding mapserver will be published. You 
can search for them using f.e. google.
