odd problem

Have you check the images using gdalinfo to see if they're the cause of
the problem?

Before I jump into looking at debug output, has anyone seen this before.
At some scales of imagery some of my users have reported that the images
are being flipped from north to south, i.e. drawn upside down. I've
never seen this myself, but I'm not using the same tools as them, so it
could well be a local problem to them.
