Mr SID support into PHP mapscript

How are you guys,

As the time goes by I decided to post this question again, just in case
someone is able to help me:

Has anyone compiled Mr SID support into PHP mapscript?  If so, does anyone
have binaries for download?

Also, another question: does anyone know of an efficient way to reproject
MrSID images from Albers to Latlong without converting them into GeoTIFFs?
