How to use insert layer in mapscript

Hello all, i am sorry if this message has been posted twice, i have been having some problems with my account ...

  i am trying to use insert layer using mapscript but not able to find the proper syntax, how can it be used and if i want two layers to be inserted on top of all the other layers how do we set the index ....
