No presenters have thus far stepped forward. At the
very least, it would be great for someone to give a
general overview of FOSS GIS clients, spatial
databases, and map servers.
So far, there are 30 people on the mailing list.
Please spread the word - particularly if you know of
anyone willing and able to give a survey / overview
presentation, or a presentation on PostGIS/MapServer.

You are invited to an Open Source GIS gathering in San
Diego.
Date/Time: Tuesday, August 8th 2006, 6:30pm to 9:00pm
Location: Visualization Lab, San Diego State
University ( http://citi.sdsu.edu/ )
Purpose: To introduce geospatial
professionals to free open source complements to
commercial GIS software
Admission: Free. However, space in the lab is
